Spooler Rental, as part of Mooring Systems Limited can offer turnkey engineered systems integrating all hose related components of offshore projects.
Our technical staff provides static and dynamic analysis of hose systems (using visual Orcaflex), thermal and fluid estimation, finite element analysis and other complementary support.
Experience gained in previous projects allows us to provide dedicated engineers and marine personnel for field support, operations planning and installation. Some of our recent projects are outlined below.
Mirage Field Gulf of Mexico November 2009
As part of the installation of MIN DOC3 floating drilling and production vessel, Moorings Systems supplied our unit SR002-75TE and the ancillary hoses. The new custom-built unit was loaded with the product hose before shipment via a 40ft flat rack container to Theodore, Alabama. Once offshore, our dedicated operators ensured the job was completed on time and within budget.

Mooring Systems Limited supplied and mobilised its hydraulic quick connect/disconnect bow landing package, 300 metres of Flowline hose plus 80 metres of jumper hose from our own dedicated quayside facility at Montrose. This equipment acted as the interface between the Stena Spey MODU and the BW Carmen FPSO. Our spooler unit SR004-16TE was utilised to transpool the hose product to the vessel’s storage facility under the supervision of our experienced operators.
